The 2023 Jeep Wrangler 4xe is an electrified off-road SUV and the industry’s first plug-in hybrid electric vehicle with a front and rear locking differential. The system is comprised of a 2.0-liter direct-injection turbo PHEV engine, a 17-kilowatt lithium-ion battery pack, a regenerative brake booster, and eight-speed automatic transmission. In total, the powertrain produces 375 horsepower and 470 lb-ft of torque for thrilling performance on- and off-road.
The SUV’s powerful electric battery gives you the confidence to go long distances without needing to worry about charging. Travel up to 49 miles on electric power alone or 370 miles using both the battery and engine. To keep you charged, Jeep is hard at work installing solar-powered charging stations on key trails in the United States.
